Donkey Kong theories going beyond headcanons.

Inka-Dinka-Tiki-Tong

Let's ignore the fact this sounds like some weird song.

Let's imagine that both the DKC games and cartoon are canon, with the latter predating the former by about ten years. More about this later. It's a bit of a long post.

"Watch the Skies", an episode in the cartoon, has DK and Diddy wondering who built the temple of Inka-Dinka-Doo. Inka himself sassily replies; "FOR ME TO KNOW, YOU TO NOT FIND OUT." The Kongs think it's aliens. Mind-controlling aliens. Of course, disregarding the fact that the UFO they saw earlier was just Krusha in one of K. Rool's contraptions...

Ahem, let's skip ahead a bit.

Mind-controlling? Now what else in DK lore did this...

Indeed. The Tiki Tak Tribe.

My point is; Inka-Dinka-Doo might be the same as Tiki Tong.

Donkey Kong Country Returns begins with DK Island, actually being a volcano, erupting. I like to think that this is K. Rool's work. He was going to find out who built them temples, except in his searching, Indiana K. Rool stumbled upon the temple. He accidentally triggered something that released the Tikis, who had been dormant for thousands of years. And Tiki Tong. AKA Inka-Dinka-Doo. Not sure what happened to him after that. Up to Nintendo to decide, I guess.

(Note: I will be using a new tag for these kind of entries. I'll call them blips. Short but sweet but still relevant.)
